Find Out About Fostering & Supported Lodgings

Join us in The Training Room at Brighton Swimming Centre, to meet the team, find out what fostering involves, learn who we're looking for and how to apply. You will be able to hear first hand from some of our foster carers and ask them questions about their experience.

You will also be able to learn about Supported Lodgings Placements; our Supported Lodgings Team will be there to tell you how you can provide emotional support to a young person, helping them to learn the everyday, practical skills they need for adult life.

Our informal information events are only inspiring but also a good way to understand the role and how Brighton and Hove will support you. There will be a short, conversational group discussion beginning at 7pm, followed by a chance to chat one-to-one with our foster carers and social workers.

Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.

Parking:

Parking is permitted on-site – however this can be limited. Parking is also allowed on the entrance road leading up to the swimming pool next to Brighton College.

If you can’t find a space, there is on-street parking that is £1 for 1 hour. There is also Wilsons avenue in Whitehawk that is free, which is about a 10 minute walk to the centre.
